Similar to the Silent shirt, this comes from the simple message of the apostles. If I am serious about believing what I claim to believe, then I have no choice but to share it.
To be honest, to share is to show Christ's love. Again it comes back to Christ's two commandments. Love God, Love People. If we do not share, we are not truly loving people.
And, if we truly love God, then we should desire to tell everyone about it, like a newly engaged girl showing her ring to everyone around, even those she may not know.
