This statement is our primary goal because our primary emphasis in ministry is to reach out to youth who have not heard of Jesus Christ. We have found that skateparks and ski resorts are worlds full of youth where most have not heard of Christ, but are ready to listen. These are our primary target of ministry. They are usually painted as delinquents by local police, adults who stereotype them, and even many churches. The truth is that when someone invests the time to build a relationship with them, many of these skaters want to find something to live for, many are searching.
Furthermore, there is a minority out there among the skateparks. Those few skaters who believe in Christ and want to see His name glorified. For these skaters, we wish to offer support. We also wish to offer the message of how to use skateboarding to witness to others. As Colossians 3:17 states, do everything, whether in word or deed, to honor God the father through Christ Jesus. This includes skateboarding, "freestyle rolling" (or whatever inliners call their sport today), snowboarding, skiing, surfing, wakeboarding...and this is the message to those who are christian skaters.
